About Women for Purpose

Leading a not-for-profit, charity, social enterprise, or mission-driven organisation takes a particular kind of resilience.

You’re carrying more than anyone sees, and too often there’s no one around who really gets it.

And your calendar is overflowing so there’s rarely any time to expand your network and connect with your peers.

We designed Women for Purpose (WFP) as a peer network where you can connect with and learn from your peers in the minutes you already have, not minutes you have to go find.

The one exception is that a handful of times a year, we bring a small group together live (virtually for now), because some things are better worked through in real time.

Peer recommendations - A list of what other members are using right now, surfacing tools, newsletters and podcasts you’d never find on a standard top ten list.

Member directory (coming soon!) - A private, opt-in directory of purpose-driven peers that opens doors to strategic collaboration and real-world connection. Be seen by peers for potential board roles, joint funding opportunities, and panel invites, or connect with local peers for informal coffee catch-ups and regional collaborations.

Grow together - led by our Purpose Partner

Our Purpose Partner is a woman recognised for her leadership, for her story behind it, and for what that story has taught her that’s worth passing on.

We cycle through one Purpose Partner at a time, each shaping a theme and the network’s conversation. So members get expertise they can act on that’s been earned through experience, not just theory.

Unfiltered - a free newsletter from the quarter’s Purpose Partner offering her perspective on the theme and challenging how you’re thinking about it.

Frontlines - a free newsletter interview with a panel of WFP subscribers sharing their honest accounts of what the theme looks like for them in practice.

Executive Access Masterclass - a paid live session led by the Purpose Partner, and held virtually, giving you direct access to her thinking, plus the chance to connect with, and work alongside, other women leading similar organisations.
